White Oak used, just like the USS Constitution. Oak is treated with a UV resistant coating
Custom steel banding holds the planks into position. Stainless steel fasteners join the pieces.
The customer provided the desired artwork. We cleaned up the vector files and drew the final code used for the CNC machines. 1/4" brass plate was cut with a water jet, leading to perfection. The brass was cleaned and sealed with a UV resistant coating. It is fastened with stainless steel screws.
The verbiage was provided. We took the vectorized files and crafted the final code required for our CNC machine. It was cut on our plasma table. Afterward, it was welded, cleaned and ultimately powder coated.
Note the four Stainless Steel stars. These are the actual mounting points.
