These fire pits last far longer than anything else on the market. They are crafted from Stainless Steel, not carbon steel. As a result, they do not turn into a rust bomb.

The pictured piece is crafted from 3/16" stainless plate. It has a diameter of 4'. It was also crafted back when we cut everything by hand! It was 100% cut by hand. Although it was fun to do. It was expensive. We now craft our files own artistic CNC files. It reduces the time and cuts the price down for you. It has also enabled us to focus more on the finishing process.
We use our fire pit regularly. We also enjoy a FIRE. The Stainless will often glow orange around the base. As a result, no treatment was made to the metal. There are high temperature coatings advertised. We have not seen a cost efficient coating that can withstand the heat induced by a healthy fire.
